IGCP 597 and 574 are jointly sponsoring a session to celebrate and honour the career of Cecilio Quesada at the Gondwana 15 international conference, to be held in Madrid 2014, July 13th – July 18th.

The conference website where general information, including procedures for abstract submission and a list of field trips may be found. We expect the session to be as diverse as Cecilio’s career itself, and invite contributions that deal with all aspects of Gondwanan geology as well as Gondwana-Laurasia interactions. Registration for conference and field trips will start in January 2014 and can be done on the website. The abstract deadline is May 10th, 2014.
